i'm lost

ok guy's as the tittle states I am at a loss here, I blew my 16g. blew almost all the oil out of the exhaust so I bought an 18g installed it today and now she is cranking extremely funny almost like it has dead cylinders (renting compression tester tomarrow) and is smoking hella bad..when it does start it idles ok and reves fine. I need to know what to check next?
Also pulled dipstick to check and make sure oil was not leaking out again and it started blowing oil out the dip stick.?

If you lost compression you will notice a big loss in power. Compression test it then post up what happened with the test

Hopefully the compression comes back good, could there still be oil burning off the exhaust causing the smoking goodluck

ok compression was fine fixed all problems and all was good then whilst driving fuel line apperantly let go and fire and it was big so long story short i will be down for a while thanks for all the help everyone..
