Hi everyone, again.

So yeah.... Round 4 here. Glad I remembered my login and pw this time. I'm finally free from the army and working on my car (hadn't ever even seen it till last month). Just got into the San Jose area and I'm looking to build my GSX into a road racer. So if anyone in the area wants to hang out or something send me a PM.

I got to inspect the car this week and wow.... I have a lot of work to do. Oil leaks everywhere. Either coolant leak or dried coolant because the previous owner didnt know what a funnel was. The car was lowered so now I have to research on if it's too low and if so how far I have to raise the car back up. The guy got the grand idea of putting in a "short shifter" by slicing off half the shifter knob. got to replace passenger door and fender because it is simply easier to go to a junkyard and find another then trying to fix it. Got to find front and back bumpers because the blitz kit was so flimsy (or his driving was so bad) that theres cracks everywhere. Needs new hood. The clutch was probably installed incorrectly because I cant feel any resistance until the pedal is an inch and a half from the floor (or it's that worn out). I'm covered in something that feels like fiber glass because this guy had a custom built manifold put on and wrapped some kind of synthetic fabric over it. When I tried removing it to remove the exhaust manifold it practically crumbled in my hands. The turbo is blown (the only problem I was aware of prior to buying it). Something keeps sucking the battery dry. I can only speculate a short circuit somewhere because I don't want to crank the engine with a blown turbo. Rotors are rusted over. He had BRE6EKR Spark Plugs in there. I had to drive a screwdriver through the oil filter just to get the thing out because it was so tight.... I'm seriously wondering if I should try to fix all this mess or just rip apart the entire car and assemble it from scratch fixing as I go. I'm really tempted to do the latter but I'm not THAT knowledgable about cars. This is after only looking at the contraption for 2 days. Worst of all though... It's red.... everything is red. Red seats, seat belts, spark plug cover, everything..... He even spray painted the leather red. Thankfully I have lots of time. Just not enough knowledge yet.

Anyway. I'm looking forward to seeing Defiant's 96 pt bold font response again for those "Is (insert spark plug name here) good for my DSM?" questions.
