Im almost done with my sub box, need some help.

Hey guys, I finished contsructing my sub box today but am looking for some ideas to jazz it up. I will be carpeting it but can't decide on colors. I have green cold cathodes to light up the trunk to. Any ideas for features i could build into the little shelves? I kinda want to put little "handrails" along the edge so it will hold stuff in, but i cant think of anything I could make them out of.

you could use clear acrylic tubing, like that used for miniblind wands and heat and shape it to work for your rails.

I think the way you built the box its like advertising to theives. Personally I like things hidden. nice work though

make sure you go back and reseal the box from the inside with liguid nails or silicone or something, i see holes in the interior seams that will cause problems with sealing in your picture.. Go back over the entire thing again, better too much than too little.

Its sealed really well, the gap you are seeing still has liquid nails behind it. I really dont think it's gonna advertise to thiefs to much because the back windows have an almost mirror tint, so if they are lookin that close they would see whatever I did anyways. I put the sub in today and it didnt seem as deep as it used to, almost like the whole stand was resonating or something, the bass just doesnt seem as deep as it used to. I think im gonna have some friends who are more stereo inclined look at it and see what i need to do. Maybe some spray in foam or something would help, i dunno.
