Ignition realy buzzing

What would cause the Ignition relay to start buzzing (besides realy going bad, because I hear its very rare) and stop the car fom firing up.. It will crank like it should but won't start. Its the little gold relay box mounted in front of the ecu under the radio. I tried a second relay out of a NT with the same part number and that one started buzzing as well.. Could the ECU be causing this?

This happened to me, too. It ended up being one of my grounds to the starter. Which eventually shot my starter. I replaced my starter and cleaned up the grounds, and perfect since. Hopefully, that's all it is for you, it may not be, but I'm just speaking from my own experience.

I assume you mean the MPI relay.

They buzz when there isn't enough voltage (low or bad connection), when the ECU has failed, or you have a bad ground like Reggie mentioned.

I've yet to actually see a bad MPI reply but I've seen plenty of bad battery connections and ECU's.
