Ignition mounting distance

My battery is going in the trunk and I wanted to mount my msd box back there as well. Do you think that having the ignition box mounted so far from the coil will affect the way it performs??

no, as long as you are using the proper size wire you will be fine. mabie even step up to the next size wire of what u were going to use. Of course having the box mounted that far away is the chance of wire problems from box to engine bay. But for the original ?? yes it will work fine.
