Ignition link fuse link wire getting hot and melting??

hey everyone I"ve been trouble shooting and found that my ignition fuse wire is getting hot and melting the housing that holds the fuse?? Only thing I have changed was a stock 60amp alt to a 90 amp alternator ..I beleve it only happens when the car is running and not on the on position, not 100 percent sure..Injectors are out now so I wont be able to start it till I recieve my injectors back from fic...

Id change the wire for the alt to the fuse link sounds like the wire is to small for the amount of current. Or a bad cable.

+1 ^ ... if the amperage goes up, so should the gauge of wire you're using.

Found out at it does it on the on position with car not running..I unhooked the fan harness and the wire doesnt get hot no more..I did switch the wire around so the fan spins the other way, also I have the fan jumped to always run when the key is turned.. Im happy that i found the problem and when I get a chance I'll take out the rad and check the wiring..
