Idleing too high.

My buddy Alan and I just put a head on my laser rst. we plugged everthing back in, but it is iddling at around 2700 rpm, even when we turn the idle screw all the way in.
anyone have any ideas? and yes, all sensors and vacume lines are plugged in.

Is the throttle cable stuck somehow? Is cable to short for the throttle holder bracket thing (whatever it's called where the cable goes into on the back of the intake that control throttle position) leaving it semi open?

The throttle cable is actually a little loose, but I took of the upper intercooler pipes, and the throttle body is closing all the way.

could this be one of those, "you need to disconect the negative battery cable for 20 min to reset the ecu" issues?

Probably not, I assume you had the battery disconnected when you removed the head.
