Idle Very Wierd And High

My Average Idle Is About 1100rpms My Friends Dsm Idles At 600rmps Which Is Normal? And When My Car Is Cold It Idles At 2000rpms Is That Normal Also? My Real Question Is When I Am Coming To A Stop I Dont Downshift I Like To Put It In Neutral And Use My Breaks, When I Do This My Idle Jumps From 1800 To About 1100rpms When Im Rolling, Doesnt Really Matter How Fast Im Rolling Either I Can Be Rollin Just Bearly To Notice And My Idle Will Flucuate. Is There Anything I Can Do?

your friends is a tad low but closer to normal. its also normal to have a change in the idle when you tap the breaks ( sudden draw on vacume ) sence its high , it may be a boost leak. you can also check your FIAV, BISS, ISC .. clean intake system of oil / dirt
