I dont get it, all the parts i had on my 7 bolt (which did not idle surge any) are now on my new 6 bolt block.. and im getting idle surge..

it idles at like 1000 and then slowly rises to 1700 and falls back down, and starts again..

I find it hard to believe my ISC is bad.. because it worked FINE before..

i made sure the throttle cable isnt too tight, the biss screw is down all the way... and its still doing it..

any ideas?

check all you vacuum lines. spray some brake parts cleaner or something like that around the throttle body and where the intake manifold connects to the head. girlfriends car was doing the same thing and it ended up being the intake manifold gasket.
