idle surge update/help ?

Previously i had really bad idle surge from 1200-1500rpm as soon as the car warmed up. My mechanic said he thought the timing belt might have jumped a tooth. But i didn't think so. The car has always had a bit of a misfire. Anyways, today i played around with the BISS screw, then i unplugged the idle switch and the surge basically went away, i plugged it back in, it would start to surge again. So i left it unplugged then got my idle to about 800 rpm, cuz it still has that miss. The longer i let it run and then took it for a drive it did not surge again with the idle switch unplugged. Except now it idles at only -8 and i can only pull 5 lbs of boost. It used to idle and cruise at around -20 and boost to like, well only 7 psi. Fairly loud noise under the car at full boost and can hear at idle sometimes, kinda vibrate/rattle, whole car feels it, i swear it's coming from around the downpipe (3" RnR) Exhaust really stinks too. Can anybody tell me what i should do next?

When I had idle surge in my laser (1.8 N/T) I had a bad ISC all together. Same symptoms, when I unplugged it it idles at 2000+ RPM and I could get that to drop by playing with the BISS, but it still smelt very rich (Unburnt fuel) so I replaced the ISC and it fixed my problem.
