Idle Problems!

1g NA just finished a turbo swap and car will no idle. i can keep the car running with the throttle and it does not seem sluggish when i rev it up. It also does not kick the check engine light on. I replaced and adjusted the biss screw the proper way with no luck. I have tried swaping throttle bodies, swapping maf sensor. If i unplug the maf the car will idle and it throws the check engine light on. Please throw some ideas at me.

you might have a boost leak somewhere check all of your lines maybe a ground conection I was having the same problem when I first turn my car on from a build had some ground wires loose and some vacum houses loose have in mind I deleted the egr and fiav and after doble checking everything now it idles way better and I am running a n/t TB

the car idled fine when i got it, i installed a turbo maf, turbo ecu, 450cc injectors and resistor pack, and now it wont idle. i checked for boost leaks and its ok. the only think i wired up was the knock sensor, resistor pack, and a wire for the maf and the connections are all good. could it possibly be the ecu?

i did one of the capacitors looked damaged, i took it to a friend and he said its a repair. also took it to a computer repair shop and they had no idea

Well my friend it seems like you need to get that fixed, or find one that works is your car a manual, i got a few goodies for free when picked up my 92 tsi recently.

yeah its a manual, i dont know anyone around here that has a running 1g i could swap my ecu into, and i dont wanna throw out the money for a new one unless i know for sure its bad.

Fuel pressure is at about 38-39 with vacuum line connected. when i unplug the maf the car idles. as soon as i plug it in the car dies. someones gotta have a idea
