Hi there, anyone here from the houston area? Im having idle problems(too high) and I cant figured it out. I tried everything. Being working on this for few months. Im willing to pay for the help, please. I dont want to sell my car to the junk yard for $250.00, that really hurts!!

There is a ton of information all over this forum and others in regards to dsm idle issues. One easy way to diagnose is to buy a blockoff plate for the isc/fiav. If you still have problems boost leak test. A boost tester can be made for like 20$ and you need access to an air compressor. A multimeter can be used to test the isc and idle switch, the info is on vfaq.com on how to do it.

I had idle issues with two of my cars and everything checked out alright. I got tired of it and installed a block off plate for the bottom half of the throttle body and it resolved my issues. My daily driver has block off plate and I only had to help it with the pedal (maybe 15 seconds) on startup when it was below 0.
