Idle issues

I'm working on getting my car going and I got it started up. It idles decent but I cant rev it past 2 1/2 rpms. It just goes wababababa. Anyone have any suggestions?

its stock, only thing done to it is a 190 walbro and the map doesn't have the honeycombs in it. other than that she's bone stock.. OH and also I have a 1g CAS hooked up to it

its throwing check engine lights now,

p0100- this one came on because I took off the maf plug and plug it back in while running.

Update- Replaced the MAF with a stock unhacked one and it still idles like crap. Also made sure the TB was tight, that seemed to help a little as I can now rev somewhat higher but I still get the wabbababababa sound. This Engine ran great a month ago in my other car so I know the engine is good.

Does it do it under very light throttle or wot too? Try unplugging the tps to rule out a stuck idle position switch.

it does it either way but only when I get up to 2750 rpms.
what about a dirty fuel filter, i just remembered the one on it has been sitting open up top for 4 years in my garage.

Maybe leaking fuel or low fuel pressure. Also do the boost leak test

Fuel pump on its way out? I had a similar problem where you hit the gas and the car would bog. Swapped the pump and fixed the issue. Just a thought.

I don't know if its the pump. I put it in the car back in 2005 maybe. and the car never really was used ever since then.

Are any of your injector plugs broken or cracked so you can't use the clips? Does the "wababababa" sound like a Subaru or more like hitting a rev limiter? Also, +1 on the boost leak check.

Update- Found out it was my wiring to the ECU, I forget back in the day I had a SAFC hooked up to it and it was stolen out of the bastard just hacked it. rewired it and it runs better. I still have a slight idle issues like its a boost leak somewhere.
