idle goes to 1500 after getting on the car a bit

normally the idle is around 1000 or so, but if i give the car a bit of gas, the next time i coast down it will go to 1500 and stay there, why does it do this? mods are on my webpage

Prolly a sticky or mis-adusted thrttole cable to start.... http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140651&highlight=throttle+cable should prove some insight

you could also have a dirty idle control motor, it can be easily cleaned with some carberator cleaner, you just spray it into a inlet for a vacuum line as close to the throttle body as possible, rev a little and spray rev a little and spray

would either of those explain why the car is only idling high after getting on it? idle would be constantly ####ed up if it was one of those...
