idle fluctuates

just had a couple of questions about my idle. right now, it idles between 1k-1.5k. first question is what is the normal idle, second is what could it possibly be that makes the idle fluctuate? i did a new set-up with a 20g in it, changed my throttle body and tps. i've heard of dsm's havin idle problems when they start doin up grades to it. i just want to know what you guys think. thanks

Turn your idle down some on the biss screw on your throttle body.


Should be idling about 800-1000 but mine idles at 900 or drops to 700 when the air conditioner is on.

The biss screw is on the tb and its that little screw.
Loosen (I think) to get the idle to go down...

Your IAC needs to be replaced. I will say buy a rebuilt unit from www.crebotech.com instead of just hoping to get a good used one.
