K we're workin on the car right now, I will get some logs up here in a little bit. Few questions, I re-enabled the idle switch and it helped bring the idle down. It was fluctuating from about 750-950. I tried simulating the idle switch with the tps and it idles great. Right around 900 which is where its set. I also noticed when I logged the isc position its at 38. But wont move with adjusting the biss screw. What could cause that? The owner seems to think its from using rtv on the tb. Could it also be a dead isc? I also noticed that when at idle and simulating the idle switch the car goes into openloop for some reason? Any ideas? When I stop simulating the idle switch it will stay in closedloop during idle and crusing.

Next on the adjenda, what is the best way to start tuning for knock at wot? Wideband will read all the way into 10.*:1. So she is running rich right? Do I start with pulling some fuel? Or timing? Also with that being said so you use sliders or the DA tables? I know how to track the log in the tables and everything, but im not sure what the sliders do in EC. Need some input guys! Thanks for all your help.

Well, have you even bothered to test the ICS before posting that question? You want a value of 30 for the ICS and it's possible you have a boost leak somewhere as well.

Most likely due to the actually switch being bad.

Use one or the other for tuning, not both.

I would suggest posting up an idle log first with as much stuff data captured as possible. If your idle is off, any adjustments you make will alter your WOT tune as well. Where is the wideband located in the exhaust and at what rpm/boost level is the knock being picked up at?

Logs are much more helpful than words .
