Hey guys, I need your help in identifing which part this is so I can contact the dealer and buy some new ones. It's part of the convertible top, and there are two of them. Both of them are broken on my car and they prevent the top from coming down normally. Instead of just pressing the button and waiting for it to go all the way down, I have to hold down the button and push the bar up that those parts were supposed to hold up. It's not a big deal because it still functions properly. But I'm selling my car, so I want to fix this asap so any potential buyers that come by have nothing to complain about. Thanks for any help in advance.

How would I go about finding exactly what the part name is? Is there a manual out there somewhere that would tell me?

TIm:
suggestion. Drop by the local Mitsu dealer, ask the mto look it up and possibly confirm that that is the part based on what the have in CAPS (parts look up system) and maybe if they have one in stock.

Unless you go junkyard scrounging you're going to end up buying it from them anyway.

The service manual isn't much help either. You'll have to go to the dealer, they should have more confidence with the convertible top diagrams in CAPS than I do. Maybe you'll get lucky and they will have a few of the parts in stock, if not let them decide what to order.

This is one of those times where paying the normal dealer price is worth it for the knowledge and security that you'll get the right part, eventually :)
