I pulled a fuel pump out of my junker that I'm parting out, and the old owner said it was a 255, but he wasn't running an AFPR. How do I identify a 255 vs a 190?

Usually Walbro fuel pumps have there name and part number on the side of the fuel pump itself. Could also post a couple pics of it.

If you could post a couple pictures I could let you know, but like the first person said, check those numbers and see if they match.

Genuine walbros would be branded on the pump itself usually with the name and part number. I've seen some with just a branded W . ^ agree definitely post a pic or two so we can help you more with the identification of your pump. It could also not be a walbro fuel pump and be some other brand 255 or 190 we need to see pics.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna go get it out of the shed now. I'll check out the numbers.

Just checked it, it's a GS342, so a 255! Thanks for all the help guys, sorry I took so long to answer.
