Well, I was doing my FMIC install, and had to relocate my coolant overflow bottle and stock BCS to clear the short route piping. There's a relay attached to the same bracket as the stock BCS, and my genius friend decided to pop it out of the socket with a screwdriver. It went flying and broke. Does anyone know what it is, what it does, if it's necessary, and if I can even find a replacement anywhere?

BTW, this is a 97 AWD, if that helps.

Should I just leave it out, or jump a wire across some of the terminals? Now my battery is draining down.

That other thread says its wired in parallel. I can just leave it out, right?

If it's the generator relay like I think leave it out. Does it have a connector with only 2 wires black/white and black/yellow (a blue might also be with the black/yellow)? Then that's it. Don't jumper it or you will have a short. It's a backup for if the charging warning light is out so make sure that light is working or your alt won't put out.
For your battery run down problem, check your battery voltage when running to make sure you're alternator is working. If you don't have around 14.4V I'd say you have a problem with the alt or battery, or the charging warning light is out. But if you just can't sleep at night without this relay (or you want the backup feature) you'll have to get it at the dealer (big $ and no one else will have it).
