idel surge maybe?

Im not sure what my problem is here. At an idel my car runs and the rpms jump about 150 rpms on average from 850-900. Its set to 900 on link. when i put the car under wot or even just accelerate at all and put the clutch in the car dies. When i did have my a/c belt hooked up and i turned it on it did cut the rpms down to 300 and jump between that and 600 rps. I tested the isc and it came back with 40 ohms on all 4 tests. Any ideas?

Did you dial in your TPS with link? Should be 0.65v on idle and 5.00v WOT. Should go from 0% to 100%.

Also, did you dial in your BISS Screw? If it's not adjusted correctly you get a whole bunch issues.

That ISC test isint very accurate, you can have 40ohms accross the board and still have a bad IACV. More then likely if you don't have boost leaks and your TPS is set correectly and your still having idle problems then its probably is your IACV. Autozone has new IACV for $100 so you could replace it and see what happens. Personally I replaced mine because I don't want to burn my ecu out because of a bad IACV and $100 is worth the saved headaches. Your TPS checks out using vfaqs test method correct?

I totally agree. Checking for boost leaks is something else that's very important.
