1G I want AC! FMIC Ducting and Cooling / Fans

^^ I can't fit factory fans with a twin-scroll t3 manifold, dual external wastegates, dumptubes and a honkin' HX35 taking up all the room next to my radiator ^__^

ANYWAY, I got it resolved!! I'll post some pictures and update later today!
 
Erik, i did a similar thing as Donnie. I have a mid 80's Camaro air dam mounted under my radiator to pull air up. You have to trim it to your height but it pulls air in pretty dam good in addition to what ever else you may want to do and is just about perfect width to bolt right up. Some thoughts.

This did the trick, along with sealing up the FMIC to the radiator. I had tried this before a few years ago but didn't have great results, but I had TONS of air gaps before.

Once I sealed the FMIC completely to the radiator in this thread my temps dropped significantly. But not enough in hot (90+) weather. I bought a new beater car (98 Saturn for $300) so I can change the clutch on my Eclipse, and I noticed the air dam on the bottom. I looked at the Saturn system and it's ducted and sealed all the way around the radiator except for the bottom where the air dam is.

If that works for GM/Saturn, it works for me. I broke the lower seal between my FMIC and radiator and bent up a piece of sheet metal and bolted it on.

And it was an astounding success. I went from over 210 degrees on hot days on the highway (90+ degrees) to UNDER 195 degrees! BOOM! Cooling issues officially resolved. Now to fix my AC! I'll probably do that this winter, I'll post again when I do.
