i have a 93 talon na its a 6 bolt the marks in the cam gears dont line up so i think i skipped a tooth or 2 this could cause the car to not start rght? and just replaacing the timing belt and zeroing out the motor would fix this right

1 tooth should cause some rough idle.
2 teeth should cause it to run bad throughout the band.
3 teeth should bend valves.

This is for a 4G63T.

yes, that will cause the car not to start. ive heard that you can bend valves when you skip tooths though too. so i would be careful.

thats ok ### i have a second head for the motor so im guna redo the timing belt adjust the timing and zero out the motor and then replace the head if thats all thats bad
