I think my clutch is going out!?

My clutch releases damn near at the top of my pedal travel. After it releases it moves maybe another inch or two. It seemed like it grabbed decent besides the abnormal engagement. Shortly before I chipped my exhaust valve I tried to launch at 3.5-4k rpms and it slipped. Could this be a bad clutch or improper clutch adjustment?

Try loosening the clutch rod a bit. It could be too tight causing the slave to not release all the way. IF that doesn't help than you will be needing a new clutch.

When was the clutch last replaced, if you dont know replace it, and the tob, get a oem one.

I have a xtd stg 4 clutch and pp to put in if it is going out but I don't want to fix something that's not broke. My car currently has the cylinder head off due to the broken exhaust valve. As far as adjusting it I don't how to check to see if the adjustments did any good cause I can't drive it.

Yea I swung by mitsubishi today and picked up a TOB. I have a spare longblock that was recently rebuilt with ARP'S, BSEK. Im starting to lean towards pulling the SB and replacing the clutch assembly just to be safe.
