Hi, well this is a problem Ive had for about 3 months now.

Basically my car will run fine if it has been sitting for a long time, but if I drive the car around..shut it off...and then come back to it about an hour later the car will run on 3 cylinders. In addition to this Im throwing the CEL for my injectors (41). Then sometimes while I am driving it while its running crappy the car will correct itself. I have all new injectors and a new fuel rail. I dont know where to start, any help would be great. :talon:

Ps- My cars fans dont work but I havent had any overheating issues. My upper radiator hose is always warm while the bottom is cold. I dont know if these issues could be related.

Factory temp guage is not very good, so you could be doing a bit of overheating without knowing it. Definately fix that problem ASAP. How do you know its running on 3 cylinders and not just running badly? This sounds like a problem I've heard of before, somebody else may be able to confirm this. If the fuel lines are close to a heat source and the car sits hot for a while you can get vaporized fuel in the line. This can make the car run badly, or not run at all untill it cools all the way down, but it can correct itself when you're driving because of airflow cooling the fuel lines back down. Can anybody confirm that they have had this happen? Just some things to think about, I hope it helps.

Im pretty sure that Im running one 3 cylinders because when I pull out my #3 spark plug there is not difference in the way the car runs. (crappy) I have heard of people hot wiring their fans to turn on when the car does, but I cant find any information on it. Does anyone know where to find it?

My buddy had this problem exactly on his 91. Threw the same code, we used TMO to kill one cylinder at a time, and his was also a bad #3 as well. We swapped in new injectors and a new injector resistor pack and the problem never came back.

before going and swaping everything, injector and stuff, did you look at the wires going into injector #3. I had a similar problem. I moved the wires around while the car was running, badly. The problem went away, then I just re-wired the wiring and the problem was fixed. But if it doesn't go away when you move the wires, then solution above will do it.

Are you talking about the wiring harness that goes onto the injector? I just spliced another harness on there and it still didnt fix the problem.

Injector resistor pack? I dont even know what that is???
