So... I went to my Autozone to rent the special 3 jaw puller for our engines. All they had was the regular one. Obviously the shaft was too short. I looked through my tool box for things I could use. My 1/4 extension was too short, so I attached a 7mm deep socket to the end of it. Checked it for clearance in the hole and it seemed to slide all the way in (and out) just fine.
Well, I cranked on the puller for a while, and realized that the tip of the puller broke off in my 1/4 extension, I pulled out the 1/4 extension only to find that the socket I attached to the end of it had expanded from the pressure.
So, now I have a socket stuck in the crank shaft hole, I can't grab it with a vice grip or anything because it's in there deep.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can get this thing out of there?
