I just recently rebuilt my motor .. Brand new head and everything. I took my car today to get an oil change and when it was finished i go to start it and its shaking like hell and antifreeze is coming out of my exhaust manifold which just cracked after the change. I'm wondering if there is any way that something could have been cracked when it was lifted up. like the lift was placed on something that could have cracked it. The oil place is tryin to blame the guy who rebuilt my motor, but im thinkin that the oil place must have done something wrong because it ran fine when i brought it there.

Does anybody know of anything that the lift could have hit on the underbody of my car to cause this or have any ideas????

Thanks!

if you have a built motor why would you trust an "oil place" to change your oil??

and i doubt where they put the lift it could have broke something like that.

they probably took it for a beat run and blew the hg or something.

WTF
What kind of lift was it? If it was an actual lift lift then I'd say there's no chance of your exhaust manifold going all broke on you. Even if it was a normal jack placed under the car, I'd say it'd be difficult to break the manifold. And why is coolant coming out your mani?

the only way coolant can come out of the head is if they were drilling all over in it and hit a water jacket.. or your coolant line on your turbo has a leak and just looks like its comming out of the manifold....

The place that does my engine work is an hour and a half away. So i took it to a local oil place to get it changed I didnt think they could do anything wrong to it by just changing the oil. Im starting to think that when the new engine was put in they over torqued or overtorqued something or possible a water jacket was hit. The antifreeze is literally shooting out of the exhaust manifold, but there is no antifreeze in the oil, which is a good thing.
