Yeasterday I was going home from school and my car jumped the timing. My friends and I push the car to a local shop. I just got a call from the dude at the shop saying that my head is bad. Ok so im thinking to my self what should i do here. Should i pay the guy to fix it or should I do it my self. I know how to fix it but i dont have the money right now, I could by a parts car and just do a swap if I can find one. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

well If you jumped the timeing then the head is probably bad depending on the damage you did but I would say just go out and either buy a new head or you can just find a used one and do it your self they are really easy to do just make sure you use the torque specs and new head gasket while your at it.

ok so the dude just told me that the valves hit the pistons and they too are damaged so i think its time for an overhaul :hellyeah:
