I NEED A NEW CLUTCH any sugestions ??????

Hey I have a 90 talon tsi and I start to feel my clutch going. I planned on upgradeing to a better clutch anyway As I have alot of mods that will up my power , wich the stock clutch will not be abel to handle. Now here is my thing I want a really nice grabing clutch . This car is basicly my daily driver. So im open for any sugestions and pricing on whatever clutch you recomend would be great. I got the price of 300 for installation, wich almost makes me want to do it my seld . thanks alot

I highly recommend the ACT 2600 - it's the best of both worlds... it has great holding power, and is hardly noticeable once you get acustomed to the pedal feel...

Yes personally I love the 2600. Just be ready to grimace every time you take the car to get inspected or tires (the tire shop now lets me pull it in) cause they WILL stall it the first time. Of course I happen to have a locked center diff....and they hate the chirp when they are in the car.

Until you get use to the clutch it will feel like an on-off switch but you will not even notice it after the break in time. Also the clutch lasts much longer than the other clutches because you get less angular slip pupon gear shift.

Hey guys thanks for the repsonses. Alot of people are recomending the ACT2600 so i think thats what im gona go with. Are there any other parts i will need besides the clutch ? thanks agian guys

I bought my act 2600 kit from prostreetonline.com it came with clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and alignment tool. Thats everything you need unless the flywheel looks like crap and you need to get it resurfaced. You might think about upgrading that anyway while your in there.
