I just bought a hks exhaust. what do you think?

Hi, I've just bought a HKS exhaust yesterday.
Now I have some questions:

Do you think it is a real HKS. (It's written HKS Super Drager on it) but it looks different to the ones I could find on the internet.
What do you think, is it a 2" or a 2,5" or a 3" ? They told me it is a 3" but I don't
think so....

It sould be for a '95 GSX?

y don't u measure it to see if it's 3 or not? where did u buy this that u would think it was imitation? and y does the muffler look all greasy?

I would mesure it, if you could tell me, how much 2" / 2.5" / 3" is
in centimeter. We don't use (x") here in Europe

I bought it in a shop near Zurich and they told me it is a HKS but I'be never
seen a HKS like that. It was a good offer because they ordered it by mistake and I could buy it really cheap...

Greasy? I have no Idea...

That HKS does not look fake however it does not seem to be for a turbo. Assuming most HKS super drag tips are 4-5 inches, that exhaust cat back looks half of the tip. Most after market exhaust for turbo's cars cat back should be about 3".

I'm sure they 'told' you what it's for, but how's that shops reputation? HKS hasn't made a super drager for our cars in quite a while, which would explain the moderate amount of dust on your muffler. And why does your tip have some grease on it? And as stated before, most muffler tips for turbo'ed cars are a bit bigger than the one you have.

But on the bright side, it looks legit.

I used to work at a motorcycle store as a porter (I'm 16, it was a summer job) and the bikes were always covered in a greasy type layer of crud that protected the finish. I'm not saying that's what all that shit is all over the tail pipe, but it could be. The moist / salty air from things being shipped overseas can do some real damage on a shiny finish.

*EDIT* Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the greasy stuff always collected a very thick layer of dust, which is also present.

5.7 cm is 2.25". I dont think hks made a turbo exhaust that small but they did make it for n/t eclipses.

if you look at the pics. Can anyone defenatly say "that's not for a turbo 1995 GSX, that won't fit) ?
Because, if it is not for a 95 GSX, I don't even try to mount it, I will give it back straight away......
