I have a '95 Talon, I have no spark on 2 cylinders. (cylinders 4 &1). Both run off of one coil pack. So I went to Auto Zone, got a new coil pack, put it on and still have no spark. Then put on a new control module, and still no spark. I went through all the wiring and made sure all the connections were good and cleaned them up, and looked timming over about three times, and still no spark. Did a full compression test, and there is 120 psi on all four cylinders. The only thing I can think of that could be wrong, is the Cam Angle Sensor, not sure if it sends a multiple singal from one coil pack to the other, but the car will run on two cylinders.

This may not have anything to do with your firing problem, but 120 psi is very low numbers for compression on a 2g.

I'm pretty sure the service limit is around 133 psi if I'm not mistaken.

Did you let the car warm up completely before you did your compression test??

It has a new coil pack new crank sensor new control module. I cant warm the care up when it will only run on 2 cylinders. Im sure the compression is better than what i said it was becouse i did a full head job on it and before i did it i only had 115. Im going to try a new Cam Angle Sensor i should get it on wensday

Well im going to get my new cam angle sensor today this better work i put so much money in this danm car theres only 247 miles on the danm motor i rebuilt it from the bottom up the only thing thats not new is the trany

the 95-96 have a cam angle sensor at the intake cam gear and a crank sensor down under behind the harmonic balancer. What I dont get why only two would only be fireing, i dont think the sensors send out two signals, or if it did it would be across the same wire due to only one signal wire from the crank and cam sensors. I think the problem lies somewhere in the wiring going to the coil.
