I just replaced the Valve cover gasket. So i know thats not it. But it is accumulating under the spark plug cover. It sprays on the hood too.

I just went outside and took the cap off. Is there supposed to be a ring of oil on the lip of the valve cover for the oil?? Is so. How do i know if its bad? just replace it and hope for the best?

Sure looks like the oil cap to me.

That ring of oil is where it is going past the cap gasket. Install a new cap and you'll be good to go!

I know I ask alot of stupid questions up here. and im just trying to get my car right. Its just everytime something is wrong I always think the worst possible thing that can happen, has happened. Thats why I ask.

Thats just always my luck with cars.

I had a similar problem, mine was a little more obvious though. I forgot to put the cap back on and took it for a drive, had oil everywhere by the time I realized what I had doneOMG Man, did I feeel stupid:coy:
