I GUARANTEE you have never heard of an issue like this before in your life!!!!

No 4th could easily be your end clutches, which is very common. Also it's been known that the filter bolts being over tightened can distort the casting and bind valves in the valve body. That could cause the no movement issue.

I've had real good luck with the Valvoline semi-synthetic ATF. I've never tried the B&M, but understand that it works well.

If you got this transmission from a dealer than it should of came with some kind of warranty. Unless it is up I would pull it out an send it back to the dealer.

I am ripping in to the gsx this weekend. Going to see about the TCU and everything else electrical. and I'll take pictures of fluid and magnets.

started to put the car back to stock, stock turbo, stock intake manifold. going to put everything i can stock on a 6bolt in my 2g and start messing with the transmission. i hope its something simple as a sensor or a tcu because i really don't want to spend the money on a new or rebuilding my transmission especially with it still being new and having such low mileage on it.
i have to be able to remember how to put the wiring harness back in to where it all goes.
is there anyway to pull codes off the tcu when it's not installed in a car or when the car is torn apart?

I'm blown away, at why you didnt make a huge deal to mitsu, when the trans started acting up in the first place. A new oem transmission couldn't have been cheap, and for all that money, I would have been at the dealership making them fix it.

it was covered under a warranty it blew out in like 3 days of me buying the car. it was fine until the engine blew and then i 6bolted it. 4 months after the swap was when the trans started acting up, so it was out of any type of warranty that it would of had.

who put the engine in? are there different adaptors from a manual to auto trany at the crank? ive seen countless ppl not check that when doing an engine swap or use the wrong flywheel

it has kingly adapter. a kid i knew put it in back in like 05. he was/is a dsm guru.
