I drive a 1g and i hate my seatbelt thread

I actually never knew dsm's had the auto belts until a little while ago. I never seen one with the auto belt before, the same as i never seen a turbo srt-4.

how much would you guys be willing to pay for a regular seatbelt assembly? I may be parting out my parts car, and if i can get good prices i'd make my way to the scrap yards and help you poor bastards out.

i wouldnt be willing to pay a lot of money but like 15-20 bucks probly. i will be getting a racing harness sooner or later so it will just get resold again regardless. if the parts would be expensive or out of my price range, i can just wait. *shrug*

You think he'd learn My gf always puts the beat behind her because it cuts across her tits. the bets part is she forgets about it and opens the door...shes still pissed about it messin her hair up just before prom...

Mine's choked/poked/slapped me before. I suppose it's just karma for pushing the car so hard sometimes It's mad at me, and gives me a good once over occasionally.

My passengers though... I don't know why they get hit in the head _so_ much with the auto belt. Seriously, everybody that gets in gets slapped (my car's jealous, thinks I like my passengers more, hehe).

You shouldn't not wear the lap-belt though. Even though I've forgot to take it off once or twice, you always gotta put it on. Something about the shoulder belt by itself is actually much worse in an accident than nothing at all (It flips you upwards by your neck, and hurts you more, cause your waist isn't held back).

Yeah, this is sick irony: both belts have been working fine, now this morning when I went out to start my car, the passenger one doesn't move forward when I open the door.

I'm going to be ignorantly hopeful and just think it was due to it being 9 degrees and things don't work so well when it's cold.

That is the dumbest thing I ever heard, but I pray it actually is the case cuz I can't be the only one getting slapped by the belt, the passenger needs to participate.

Uh I'm interested .
I have a friend in toronto and i can come up one day and pick it up from you .

Now i know that the uper interior parts are different ( Like A piler and B piler )
Also the clip part that is boletd to the flor ( is it bolted to the flor or is it on the seat like in auto belts ? ) .

The reason i want to get rid of them cause they are a pain when some one gets it and get's them jamed , so you have to open the door and close the door again .
Also since the lap bellt always foals out of the braket , i need to look for it on the floor behind the seat .

I'm willing to trade anyone for the auto belts , cause i have 4 Talons and two of them i would like to be manual .

i dont wear the lap belt ever.

but i was told that if u dont and are in a serious accident u can be decapitated.

ur body would slide under the shoulder harness and catch under your chin and ur headless...

i dont know how true it is, but is seems like it could happen....

in washington they are cracking down on the seatbelt laws, its nice to always have mine on, or enough of it on that the cop thinks im wearing it...

i think that the auto belt is awsome, its also great for a laugh when a buddie is in a hurry to get out and they pull the belt off before they get out and then it strangles them as they step out

I had the stock belt in my car for a 1month before I got tired of them trying to kill me. So I got one of my buddy in canada to send me the belts,a-pillers and b-pillers. The best thing I did to the inside of the car and it got rid of a lot of extra weight

I just think every time the belt moves back and holds me so snug like, that my car loves me and anybody who sits in the pasanger seat. But really doesn't like the people in the back.

How about this, mine decided to develop a short somewhere, so that when i tried to start the car the battery acted like it was dead then the alarm started making a funny noise. And if that wasn't enough the battery began getting hot till i pulled the pos pole off. I used that method to reset it but of course I had to redo all my radio settings, but the other day the short caused my poor car to die at a light while running. My solution: pulled the fuse till I get the Sparco seats and harness.

you ever hear of srt styling? its a srt-4 look alike without the turbo... how freakin ### is that? i wonder how many 'srt-4's' i've seen that were fake.

i can't stand driving without the lap belt. i feel like i'll pop out of the seat going around a corner or something. when i went to get my wallet it jerked me but atleast it showed the highway patrol i was wearing my belts.
