I designed my own kit in photoshop :)

Here I have designed and airbrushed a new body kit and wide body kit for the eclipse. I have been working in Photoshop for about a year now. On this chop, I brushed the front bumper, skirt, roll bar, seat, ic pipe, parts of the ic, the front lip (exept the big splitter near the front wheel), the skirt, front and rear flares, headlight vent, etc. The rims and new bg are obviously not brushed LOL. I thought it was cool and decided to post it (1st post as a member here so i hope this is the right section for this). Tell me what you think :)

Cya later,
Brian

its not at all bad except for the wind tunnels on it and i dont think the lip needs hydrolic lifters. Take that shit off and it will be nice...even if you dont agree, take it off and let us see.

Looks really good if you're going to compete in a full fledged race circuit.

So it looks like you're using some random supra front end. That's nice. The splitter idea is cute.

But what's with the NACA ducting on the side skirt? It's just randomly in the front. What's with the duct on the side of the bumper? DSM's (and most cars for that matter) don't have that much of a curve on the front bumper to allow for that kind of shennanigans, nevermind the size.

What's with the splitters on the sideskirts? Are those doing anything?

I don't mean to diss on your work, which is pretty darn tootin' good, but as someone who likes FUNCTION and nothing else, I can't see it working.

Looks like shit! Your photoshopping skills are inferior and comparable to a retarded child's finger paintings!

No just playing, I think that look spretty sick. I think the front wheel could use a little resizing, or you could pull out the fender a little better to accomidate the wider wheel.

That front end is definitely something I'd buy though. I'm sure with those little wind tunnels someone could easily fabricate some sort of pcv cold air duct. The sideskirts look great, and the side/rear combined look similar to the 350z.

And I'm not sure if you've had a flat front lip/spoiler, but I certainly believe those ARE neccessary with most of our bumpers as they tend to curl up a bit instead of pointing down.

Good job!

I think it looks really dang good. You gotta think, just exactly how many body kits truely "function" for anything? The vast majority are for looks.

thanks for all of the replies people :) ;)

p.s....i actually designed this bumper just for looks. I didnt want to think about something functioning in real life, i just thought up something that might look cool.

But if you're going to be throwing all those splitters, vanes, ducting, etc.... Why not MAKE them work with the car for function?

ur design has one sick drop though not intended for the crappy streets of nyc nice design bro

the carbon fiber splitters on the front and sides are very nice.. i want something like this some day.

The front is beautiful.. ive always drooled over that C-west style front on an eclipse. I like the splitter sides on the front.. :thumb:

dude, if you can find someone that could make that front bumper and sideskirts, I would be down to pick one up for my GSX, very nice chop, and I really like the looks... I'm thinking the splitters could be ducted into the brakes tho... that would make a little function and a lot of looks... don't suppose anybody else noticed the cold air intake in the headlight

i wanna say no.

the second pic, you said thats a ps of the top pic? I'm saying no. not same pic.

or did i miss something???

*I just now realized (after re-reading the top a couple times... gimme a break I'm sick and all hopped up on da Nyquil...) That he said he swapped bgs... ok, i'll buy it now. LOL

Still, would like to see it w/o that wing and the lil hydraulics on the kit.
