For the first start up cory, I would delete the MBC from the system completely and break it in on the stock psi. After you get it up and going correctly, then re-line the MBC and start to monitor off the aftermarket boost gauge to make sure whoever had it set before you was not a tard.

Necessary? not so much.
I agree though you definitely need to go to square one and start from there.
