I know probably this has been discussed before, but being as my car will be in a different climate than most i would like to be sure.

I bought a HY35 Holset turbo months ago, but haven't installed it yet on my 6 bolt swapped engine. I would like to know what size should i get for the drain and feed line since people tell me that Holset are a little bit strict on the oil side. Also very important that i would like to point out is that i live in a very hot climate (most of the time) and i don't know if that has anything to do or will affect the size of the hose and if i would have to get a restrictor or not and what size would it be. I don't know if there's a kit with the specs i need.

I want the best oil feed for the turbo and i dont wanna mess anything up since ive been sacrificing much of my time and money into building my car over these years :(

Thanks in advance you guys!

-4 no restrictor -12 drain

What about fittings, which do you recommend? i have a new oil pan which im willing to weld anything you recommend me and of course the fittings on the feed? also, is it better to feed from the head or the oil filter?

Where do you live? It gets 120* at my house. My Holset worked fine with a -4an feed and 3/4" drain.

i live in Puerto Rico bro, it gets up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit up here :(

do you know of any place where they sell them as a kit or do i get them separately?

I'm a little bit lost, where can i get all the materials you mention me here? if there's a place online where i can buy them can you place them here so i can go directly and buy them as soon as possible? i would really appreciate it :)

From the turbo, you can find a used holset drain pipe and cut it. Then weld a fitting onto the oil pan and connect the two with a rubber hose. Try not to kink the line though, you want the smoothest transition into the oil pan.
