How would black rims match up with this color?

So I'm really considering powder coating my rims black. My family is really good friends with the owner of the town's best body shop. The owner said if I prepare them, then he will power coat them free. I'm not exactly sure how my car would look with black rims, so here's a picture, give me your feedback. Or if you have the same color car, or know of this color car with black rims, post up a picture!

Absolutely!!! I wouldn't hesitate to powder coat them black. I knew a guy who had a silver eclipse like that and he painted the rims black on it, looked awesome! and for the price you almost can't go wrong

Definitely, my favorite combo of a silver 2g like that is powdercoated black wheels with a polished lip!

Black on silver.. For the price (free) you can't beat it.. If you don't like them you can always sell them.... 2 me....

Just got mine done a few weekends back, and it's actually gunmetal.
But I think it turned out better than black would have.

Yea they are free, but i gotta prepare em'..that won't be fun. Idk how he would do a polished lip, i'd say i would have to prepare that myself. Keep the pics rolling in, I think, by the looks of SmallTownDSMer, i'ma hop on the cheap (free) opportunity.

You are one of the very few people on this planet that has the this opportunity. I'm not kidding you. Powder-coated cars look F_cking sicjk!!!

Just do a googles image search for powder coat cars or flat black flat blue etc...

Imagine, the body powder coated a flat medium blue and the rims a flat black with a thin red pinstripe around the outside and dark tinted windows. and blackened tail lights.

Hell, I wish I knew someone like that.
