Hi there,

I was using a mbc with around 23psi (I have all the supporting mods) for my car. Now I switched to the AEM True Boost controller last weekend, but now I'm not 100% sure if I did it right with the tuning.

lets beginn:

I press though the menu till I get Boost set. and I put in 21 for 21 psi.
(or did I understand something wrong? Since my native language is not english, I do not get the whole user manual)

I go for a run....
ahhh, nothing hapens, it boosts ok, but not great....

then I set spring pressure to about 18psi.

drive... nothing really better happend.....

so I start to set scramble boost to 10.... and the car runs a lot better....

set scramble boost to 15.... even beter

set it to 25 and the car hits like a ton of bricks again (like it did with the mbc)...

My question is now, since I kind of have the feeling that I still do not know for sure if I'm useing the aem right, can someone explain me the handling of it?

- What is scramble boost exactly? How does it work?

- What is waste gate crack? same as spring pressure? What is your nbr you use for it?

- Boost setting A: If I click through the menue till boost set A, is that + and - to highen up and lower the boost in psi?

- what is that dudy cycle all about? It sais set the output duty cycle (10%-90%) ? in the boost menue? I thought it's just psi to change with +/-

Sorry, this may seem to you like a noob question and some may think, do not touch what you do not know how to use....
But I would really apprechiate if someone would take the time to explain it to me.

Thanks

Mike

ok, so i am also having problens with my true boost i bought 2 weeks ago, i did not wire the scramble boost or the warning light, i have no clue what scramble boost does.
now to help you with one of the questions, i called aem and the said that when u set the boost its not actually the same number of boost you will run.
for me to set my car at 17 psi i had to turn it to about 47 in the seting "a"

i hope that helps a bit and if someone knows more please join and help becouse now its 2 people that have the same problem
thnx guys :)
