How to tell the diff between a 3 bolt and a 4 bolt rear

I think i might have a 4 bolt not sure though. How do u tell the difference

count the bolt where the rear cv-shaft (axle) mates with the wheel bearing. 92 and up have the 4 bolt rear.

4 bolt is better right at least that is what i was told. and how do u make it a 4 bolt?

You have to swap out the whole rear differential and drive shafts.
