how to tell if you have infinity sound?

could someone help figure out if my 95 gs has infinity sound? im looking for new speakers all around and some speakers are diff sizes if you have infinty. im not sure if i do because it had an aftermarket deck when i got the car.

i did try to search and only cameup with answers that didn't help....

i belive that under your back seat or somewhere along their you would find a cheap infinity amp, thats would the audio sotre told me. but i aint 100% sure

Look at the speakers on both sides of the back seat. Infinity has 6x9's and without Infinity has 6 1/2 speakers. You should be able to look through the speaker cover or easily pop off the panel to see the size of the speaker.

only problem right now is my car is being stored an hour and a half away....its still snowing here in NY....so i cant go look. i didn't see any amp under the back seat when i was replacing my fuel pump last year.......any other ideas???? how to tell....

After being in cars that don't have the infinity system, you shoud know if your car has it or not just by listening to it.

Also look under the passenger seat. If there is an amp there, slap your knee and yell yeeeeeeee-haaaw cause you've got an infinity system!

Mine doesn't have one of those? I know mine should have infinity sound, I'm pretty sure I got the 6x9's in the back. I wonder if the audio shop took it out when they installed my first tv deck. It had two hide-away units...I know, pretty ghetto. My new one only has one.

The factory amp would be under the passenger seat, not under the rear seat.

If you try to pop the cover off the look at the speaker, (you shouldn't have to) he meant pop the entire interior panel off. Do not try to pop the speaker grill out, you will damage it.

They also made a non-amplified Infinity system.

Just get your vin and call the dealership, they should be able to do a vin search for it.
