Hi guys
Can I run an automatic engine ECU in a manual transmission?

What should I do about the pin 104?

I do have ECMLink, 450cc injectors, GM MAF, MAF-T

If you have ECMLink, that implies that it's an EPROM ECU and once you installed ECMLink inside it's only an automatic ECU in name only.

The circuit boards are the same, the software that was in the factory EPROM was different and depending on which type of automatic car it was from the configuration resistors might be different, but I believe ECMLink ignores those.

As I mention in the linked thread pin 104 is grounded on manual cars and used as a sense signal on automatics to know if the trans is in Park/Neutral or Drive.
