Does anyone know the full step by step procedure on how to replace all of the motor mounts? The rear mount is what I'm really worried about. I have an engine crane to lift the motor, but i dont know how high i should lift it or just totally take the motor out of my bay...People on other sites are saying to jack the engine up by the oil pan SMFH.

I have AVID aluminum motor mounts with 75A urethane inserts to replace my shitty stock ones..

Any help or advice will be most appreciated
Thanks,
Kevin.

You don't need to lift it out of the bay. The rear one is the only one that is half hard. There are only 3 bolts holding the mount bracket to the block, i would remove those, remove the speed sensor and pull the mount bracket. From there you can get all of the mount bolts. The front is just bolted to the front to rear crossmember. The driver is the easiest. The tranny side is easy also. You will pull the main bolt, jack the driver side up (with the mount off), remove the nuts, slide it out, slide new one, bolt together.

the front, rear and top engine mounts shouldn't be to hard to replace. The transmission on the other hand it going to require you to drop the motor and trans down a few inches in order to get it out. you can either use a jack or the engine picker.

You just leave the driver mount off and jack the driver side up. IT will pivot on the front and rear mounts. There will be plenty of room to put the mount in.

Pull it up enough to remove it be careful, i used a picker, and a ajck under the oil pan its not that bad, it does take some time and some maneuvering but, you can do it, ive done the rear one once, but i changed all mine while the engine was out of the car.
