How to remove ignition switch?

I was wondering how I can remove the WHOLE entire switch? I found this:

But it seems to remove only the key part....I need the whole entire assembly as something inside of it is causing a short and blowing a main fusible link.

there is the actual ignition switch bolted to the end of the key part. it is usually black in color. you won't need to remove your key part to get this off.

In the fourth and fifth picture of the link you posted. the switch portion of the ignition will be to the right side of the picture. You can just see the tab with the threaded end of the screw on the bottom side of the flange.

I just noticed the screw...it was just hard to see it when you are 6'5 with a massive head just not fitting down there
