Did you take off the trans inspection plate and take out the 4 flex plate bolts? You only have to remove the drivers side motor mount. The other 3 you dont have to touch.

Bottom of the trans, should be 3 bolts. Pull the plate off and turn the crank pulley till you see the flex plate bolt. Remove each one turning the crank pulley to get to the next one. If the timing belt is still on rotate clockwise.

Yes, next to the pan. You have to remove all the pulleys and move the motor towards the drivers side strut tower and then lift up. It will not lift straight up due to the flex plate and the bolts holding it on. Just take your time. :)

thanks a ton

can i leave the crank pully on?

No problem. Just make sure to loctite the 4 flex plate bolts on re-install. I would take the crank pulley off. Its only 4 bolts. Besides they are known for seperating so taking it off you can inspect it for damage/seperation.

good deal take off crank, wp,ps,ac,alt and out thanks
