Ive removed the tranny and rear diff put all suspension back together and tied up drive shaft. My problem is the motor saging. I dont want to break anything and its only being supported by one motor mount. Im needing to pull it up on a trailer to take it to a shop to get the tranny put back in. What to do????? Thanks Josh

I would say get a buddy to help you get the trans in. It's not that hard with 2 people. But, if that's not an option... I'd say maybe get a strut tower brace and try ratchet strapping the sagging end to it.

You could use a chain over a 4x4 spanning the engine compartment front to back to support it. Definitely don't move it like that.

be sure to put the front axles back in the hub and tighten them down or you gonna have some noisy wheel bearings,(learnt that the hard way)

I pulled it myself but im scared to install it myself simple because its a stage 4 shep and $3500 is a lot of money to throw away if I install wrong. Plus the clutch drainage and all that is intimidating. Not sure what Im doing....

You can try to get an engine cradle to hold the engine up. Also you can try to take the front bumper off and use a chain and winch and push it onto the trailer?

No. It doesn't when you use it, it has nothing to do with the trans. All it does is support the motor from the points that you would hook up to when or if you were to pull the motor. I have used it before and it's really simple. I just used it to support the motor while i swapped my tranny.

You still classify as a front wheel drive vehicle in this case because of how the motor sits.
