Having a hard time getting that nut off, anyone know a tip? Dont' feel like taking apart power steering

I take a 12mm wrench and put it on so the wrench is ~perpendicular to the head and then clamp a vice grip on the wrench for leverage. This has worked every time for me, just takes longer (not counting the time to take off the power steering of course).

Hmm,having a hard time picturing the perpindicular part. So what part of the wrench do you put on the nut? The circle part or the open part?

Then you have the wrench point towards your belly?

the power steering isn't hard to take off at all. i thought it'd be a pain but it turned out to be just unbolting a couple bolts and unscrewing some nuts. and they usually aren't all that seized on there either.

there are also a couple websites that can help walk you through it or in the Haynes manual. It'll probably take you less time to just take off the power steering pump than figuring out how to get around it.
