alright im pretty sure my waste gate is geting stuck open or stuck shut??? it spikes
really bad, i cant run third out bc fuel shut off soo please tell me how to check my flapper or whatever i need to do??!??!??
thanks

You need to tell us more about the problem, in detail. Is spike or creep? Did it just started or after some kind of install? If the gate is stuck open, You will get no more than 7psi. If the gate is stuck closed, it would shoot straight up in which your stock fuel system will not support after 16psi.

okay yeah I put a 1gen BOV with a upper intercooler pipe,
first gear it hits 16, second gear it spikes straight to like 25 and falls to about 18 then third gear it will spike straight to 30 then the car hit fuel shut off i believe that is what its doing, it feels like i hit somthing i only did it twice,,, I do have a mbc,
help me out!
Thanks

The MBC could be your problem as well. To see if your wastegate is really going bad, bypass the MBC and hook the wastegate directly to a boost source. If it boosts to 11 psi (the limit on a stock wastegate) then you either have a bad mbc, or from what I've heard from a few people the lines going to and from the mbc may be too long, which can cause spiking.

Sounds like your mbc is not sending the signal to the actuator. Did you rewire your mbc? Is the mbc turned all the way out? Do what my fellow jerseyan suggested and go from there. BTW are you venting? :shhh:

which one is the vac source .top or bottum? and wheres the actuator? just started this sorry????

That depends on which type/brand of mbc you have. It would be easier if you post a pic of the area, make sure it shows clearly where each hose is coming from.
