how to adjust cas before start up?

i wanted to know what the procedure is for setting the cas before starting the motor... i just put in a fresh 6 bolt and i don't wanna mess anything up.. all feedback would be appreciated
 
It should show in your Haynes or Chiltons manual how to do it.

If I remember correctly, you set it to TDC, take the CAS off and align the 2 markings, one on the little wheel and one on the inner housing of the CAS. Bolt it back on and it SHOULD be correct.

Verify this with someone else before you do it though, just to make sure this is correct :thumb:
