i just got my ss braided hose line and fittings for my aeromotive afpr. I can't even begin to get the hose in the red part of the fitting! Is there some trick to getting it in?

First you have to make sure the fittings are in there seperate two pieces.

You have to take the collar and slid it over the braided line first.

Then you have to place the actual fitting into the hose and slide the collar up.

Tighten them down.

Done.

To make it easy on yourself dont be a goon and try to cut the braided line with anything but a cut off wheel. You should also get some electrical tape and wrap it around the area to before you cut. This will keep the braided line from comming apart at the ends.

I am not sure who's fitting's you are using or what type, but those are the general directions. Feel free to post pics and I can hel even more.

How does the circled AN connection attach to the return line?

Yeah a dremel type tool. Wrap it in tape and cut it off. I would also spray the inside of the hose and the barb fitting with hairspray. It will make it slippery so they will slide on, but it will evaporate fairly quickly.
