How should I plug the water pipe holes after a 50 trim install?

Just installed my 50 trim and am wondering how I should plug the old feed and return holes in the water pipe that are not being used now. I rerouted two of them back into each other and have a bolt size for one but I am having trouble figuring something out the the last one. See pics below.

There's 2 ways you can do it :

Plug both holes up with a vacuum nipple and clamps or tie wraps OR you can have a straight piece of hose and loop the feed to the return.
 
I got a tap and threaded it for a bolt I had. Put JB Weld in the hole, threaded the bolt in, no leaks.
